Learning about Environment, Activism, Volunteering in Educational Schemes
Erasmus+ LEAVES is a cooperation-partnership project aiming at strengthening thinking in global perspectives at schools, supporting activism, volunteering and environmental education, leading to a lifestyle change. The project partners are schools from Cyprus, from Germany, from North Macedonia, from Poland and from Portugal. The coordinating school is the Slovak Gymnázium - Gimnázium, Kráľovský Chlmec. The expected outcomes of the project activities are a YouTube channel and a digital book of good practice & resources.
Our Erasmus+ Project is named LEAVES (Learning about Environment, Activism, Volunteering in Educational Schemes). We intend to be the trigger that prepares the new season. By sharing ideas and examples across the countries, we expect that bad habits will plummet and young people develop behavioral changes for individual preferences, awareness, and active engagement for sustainable development. In this way, perhaps we could help equalize the debt we all owe our Mother Earth and prepare for the next green generation.
